Girls’ and Boys’ Track and Field
Grades 7-12 (Co-op with NLA)
CAPTAINS' PRACTICES MARCH 4TH, 6TH, AND 8TH FROM 2:45-4:00 AT NLA UPPER SCHOOL
REGULAR SEASON BEGINS MARCH 11TH, 2019!!
Important date: Spring sports student athlete/parent meeting
Any student interested in or planning to participate in a spring co-op sport with LILA/NLA should attend the meeting at NLA Upper School on February 26th. There will be a big group meeting at 6pm followed by individual sport meetings at 6:30. The address is 308 SW 15th St, Forest Lake, MN 55025. We will have a co-op with NLA for baseball, softball, and track and field. The LILA specific sports such as golf, clay targets, etc. will have their own individual meetings on a different night TBD.
Students will participate on a competitive Track and Field team where they will learn the technique of many track and field events. Although most track and field events are individual (except for relays), the athletes will work together to create an atmosphere that will promote dedication, persistence, trust, and hard work, which will be the driving force to establishing a successful team, on and off the track.

Monday-Friday 2:30-3:45 at NLA Upper School
We typically go to the old cinder track behind the CLC and Forest Lake Elementary.
To register: If you haven't done a fall or winter sport through LILA this school year, fill out paperwork on paper through LILA (available at HW front desk or email AD Jenni Muras). Pay check to North Lakes Academy. You also need a current sports physical on file at LILA (good for three years). If you have done a fall or winter sport this school year, you will just need to write the check to North Lakes Academy. You can drop it off at NLA Upper School or give it to Jenni Muras and she will get it to NLA. Thanks!
