Middle School Visual Arts students took a field trip to Can Can Wonderland, an artist designed mini-golf course in St. Paul. A group of visually disabled youth also visited at the same time and interacted positively with the LILA kids. The manager of Can Can Wonderland later commented, "Your students were lovely...Please compliment them on their wonderful behavior and warmth. They are living your school's mission about being open and accepting of all." Wherever you travel this summer, we hope that your students will live out LILA's mission: Think for Myself, Think About Others, and Think Beyond Today. Have a great summer!

  • Family Fun Night: Thank you to everyone who made Family Fun Night a total success! Gotta love all those happy, smiling, sticky faces enjoying a night of friends and school spirit! Remember to claim your silent auction winnings at the Main Campus front desk. And thank you to our AMAZING PTO coordinators who put in countless hours to put on this HUGE event!
  • Front Office Hours: The front office staff will be enjoying summer too! Main Campus will be open between the hours of 9am-1pm M-F during summer break.
  • 4th of July Parade: Save the date! We always try to have a strong turn-out for the Forest Lake parade, and we'd love to have your family join us this year! More information to come soon.
  • Report Cards: Lower School report cards will go live on Thursday afternoon (after 3pm). You can access your child's report card by signing into TIES.

We at LILA hope you have a caring, well-balanced, risk-taking, open-minded, and FUN summer! We'll see you back on AUGUST 21 for the first day of the 2017-2018 school year!
